Fabulous Friday, TCR #106, and Sketches in Thyme

I know I was supposed to post this one two days ago but have been playing catch up with life lately. It made me realize I DO have too many hobbies (gasp!). Other than scrapping and paper crafts, you see, I love to sew, knit, play the guitar, play computer games, make jewelry, and play with polymer clay. And, as with all these hobbies, materials, tools, and equipment can eat up a lot of space as well as time. So, since lately my mom has been so into beads, I decided to purge my craft cave and send her my shinies. I have a whole bunch of xilion and swarovski crystals as well as a lot of polymer clay beads I have made throughout the year or 2.

I packed them all away, but not without a twinge of sadness. They will be going into the care package box with  the rest of the goodies I’ll be sending home. Also, I was able to finish this bag for my beloved niece.

I am thoroughly enjoying my sewing machine. I’m actually working on a messenger bag I want to copy from one of my pinterest repins. Will keep y’all posted on that one.

So anyway, enough of all that. Here’s my layout for FD’s Fabulous Friday, using a Sketches in Thyme sketch and TCR’s palette 106.

Whenever my father-in-law comes to visit, we always have adventures all around San Antonio. He loves going to historical places and museums. And although I have lived here for about 3 years now, I still find surprising places to go and visit (probably because I don’t go out much, LOL).

Will be working 8 of the 9 following days (day 5 will be my one and only day off) then our unit will be having a skin fair (hah! not THAT kind of skin fair!). And since I’m a member of the unit’s skin committee, I’ll be pretty busy until next week. I have several days off afterwards, though so looking forward to either a few day trips or a lot of crafting. TTFN!!!
