Case File #4 and Sketches in Thyme

I was hanging around the Club CK website earlier and someone sent me a convo about how to take better pics of my layouts. I took her advice and went out to get some supplies. My “photo booth” is still a work in progress but it’s helped make my photos look cleaner.

This is my submission for CSI‘s case #4 and Sketches in Thyme’s Sketch # 95. I used my Cricut machine to make the flowers out of card stock, including the greenery. The striped paper is printed out from a digi kit. The frame was cut using my Cricut and painted with crackle paint. The flourish is embossed with antique gold embossing powder to give it a gilded look. The title was die cut and attached to some black ribbon.

Sometimes I do feel bad for not letting my cat outside but then I remember how miserable she was with all those fleas and baths. Plus, she’s not spayed (despite how fat she is) so we have to get her to exercise indoors. She loves playing hunting games with little bags of catnip tied to a string and she would chase it around until she gets tired. I’m just hoping she is happy being free of fleas. Although, every now and then she gets to go out to the balcony and sniff around my sad little plants and watch the people downstairs.
